We are looking for a highly motivated

Marine Broker (m/f/d)

for our office in Hamburg who wants to expand our team.

We are pleased to offer you a position with challenging and interesting tasks. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Independent placement and management of various maritime insurance lines, including hull and machinery covers with all ancillary lines, P&I, LOH, strike and war insurance for national and international clients
  • Cooperation with insurers in Germany and abroad
  • Processing of changes during the policy year: addition of vessels, renaming, change of ownership, change of flag, etc.
  • Creation of cover notes, documents and invoices
  • Processing of contracts in the in-house broker software

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ARE IMPORTANT TO US:

  • Industry-related professional experience, preferably with an insurance broker or insurer, is desirable
  • You are familiar with the MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • You have a very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German
  • You enjoy organizational tasks and working in a team
  • Due to your personality, you are able to work independently, and you are not afraid to give your own impulses and make your own decisions
